Matthew Scott-Perry

Before forming Surface Films with Kai Maurer in September 2003, Matthew worked in production in film, theatre, television and commercials, with directors including Richard Attenborough, Peter Hall and Peter Richardson.

He was involved in more than ten shows in the West End and on Broadway, including the Olivier Award-winning Jitney (Best New Play, 2002). At 18 he became a regular contributor to The Times newspaper, writing features and a weekly film column for two and a half years. He has also written for The Sunday Times, The Independent and is the co-author of two film books, published in Canada by Kingfisher.
